Description: This scheme was generated based on the 24-hour time cycle of a coffee bar. Throughout the day, shifting flows and their related functions transform the space around them instead of adhering to it. The transform-ability of the design is produced by covering the existing side walls with plywood and then carving folding seats and tables out of these secondary walls. The furniture pieces can then be opened and closed to accommodate the morning rush, a quick lunch, evening laptop and night cleaning. In addition the cutout pieces exposes the wall behind then and crate an ever-changing pattern of juxtaposed old and new layers.
