Description: Seismograph is a memoprial park. A seismograph line cuts the riverbank altering its continuous smooth surface in a disconcerting unnatural motion. These lines form a three-fold infrastructure: 1. Permanent Display, text etched into the ground giving the background and story of the events that took place at the site. 2. Digital Display, text and information creating a platform for contemporary information and discussion. 3. Interactive Light Rods, grounded into the pavers on their outlines, by holding onto the light rod, its light intensifies. This gesture is visible as a whole from the adjacent European Central Bank tower and as a contemplative experience when walking along the pavers and onto the individual strnads of land that lead you into the water.
