Description: 'High and Low' is a hybrid of a TV dinner table and a living room table. The utilitarian object geared for eating while watching television merges with the object of desire on display for entertaining guests. 'High and Low' literally enables the 'low' TV dinner to become a 'high' romantic, candlelit occasion. As such, the wooden TV dinner tray is molded into a slick wooden mass that accentuates its muscles, bones and joints. Following the Gothic tradition, the rough hydraulic mechanism is split into four to allow for a thin, light, curving structure.
Operation: In its low 16-inch position, it serves as a living room table. When you press on the handle at the middle back of the tabletop, the hydraulic legs extend up and out to the 23-inch TV dinner position.
