Description: The demand in the brief for a building in five stages was taken as the generating concept for the design. The preliminary scheme responds to constant growth, adaptability and changing needs of the school. The design was conceived as a spinal element, which provides primary infrastructure and allows for the building blocks to interlock and aggregate. These intersecting blocks and surfaces seamlessly connect with the sloping topography and blur the boundaries between figure and ground.
