Description: Tubes accumulate to form the pedestals, while shaping circulation, places of gathering and storage areas. Each cluster houses the work of one group of artists while the circulation is continuous and open, creating loops without dead ends. The tubes are capped with translucent plexiglas, creating displays for the objects which are then lit from below with LED lights. The presence of the tubes draws people into the space. Once inside, its repetitous nature turns their focus on the displayed objects. Using 1000 tubes, 8-inches in diameter, the entire 1000 square-foot space was captured with merely paper and air.
